The purplish die the
Hmong are known for.
We rented a motor bike for three days and took it over the mountain pass
and into the Lai Chau valley.
The scenery was stunning and the adventure never ended. Suspension bridges,
buffalo herds, road construction and breakdowns to name a few.

The people along the way were not Vietnamese but members of a variety of
local "hill tribes", including Hmong. These scenes are from a local market.
