2002 Rochester Years

*Work in
Progress*
2002 was a busy year (aren't they all?). After spending the month of January in Rochester
searching for employment, Eric headed out to Utah to volunteer at the Olympics in Salt Lake
City. Katrina flew out and met Eric and Greg in Colorado for her spring break and then we
made the drive back across the country to Rochester together. Soon, Katrina graduated for
the first time and a jam packed summer quickly followed. Eric remained in Rochester, while
Katrina returned to Connecticut to continue her much loved work at Wellspring. We made the
Thruway (I-90) drive more than once that summer. Katrina spent a month in Peru while Eric
visited Niagara Falls and made a few trips between Ohio and Michigan. The end of summer
was marked by a trip to Block Island aboard the O'Neil's sailboat Out of Bounds. In the fall we
traveled to West Virginia to raft the Gauley River and to Algonquin P.P. (Canada) for the
annual 4-day canoe trip with UROC. We celebrated an early Thanksgiving with UROC at a
cabin in PA, spent the holidays with our families and then, finished the year off with a trip to
Northport Point, Michigan for New Years.
